Shortly After my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, we started to make bracelets together. She couldn't have contaminants in her space so we slid pearl beads across the floor to one another. That was our bonding time. The next few months were terrifying. As a 4-year-old who didn't know whether or not I would not have a mother the next day. Once she got out of treatment, we began to make bracelets not only for bonding time but for baskets that we would make for women who were going through breast cancer care. From this moment we envisioned starting a business together where we would support people diagnosed with breast cancer. A few pearl beads later, we created Just Bracelets by Hill Girls Design.
